Performance by Shirak Garrison Orchestra of the RA Ministry of Defense took place at Gyumri N4 vocational school

On June 12, the Shirak Garrison Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia in the framework of the program "Promoting military-patriotic upbringing in educational and cultural institutions" delivered a concert at Gyumri N4 vocational school.
The event was attended by parents of military servicemen, as well as students, pedagogues, students, students of the "Homestay" MF Center.
The orchestra presented works by Armenian and foreign composers. Folk dances were combined with national instruments, and military-patriotic works included in the program were inspired by the audience.
At the solemn ceremony, director Qnarik Aharonyan highlighted the cooperation with the garrison, whose scope is expanding year after year. Conducting practical trainings on ESD and safe lifestyle by officers, involving students in military training, and more.
For the contribution to the close cooperation with the school and the military-patriotic education of the students, the directorate was awarded the garrison's lieutenant colonel Masis Hovsepyan and the orchestra's head Davit Harutyunyan. And the parents of the servicemen were given flowers, as a sign of gratitude.
It is also worth mentioning that the Shirak garrison orchestra was awarded the Grand Prix at the Renaissance Festival in Gyumri in April 2018 after which the inaugural performance took place at Gyumri N4 vocational school.
